GENERAL DEFINITIONS
Lessor means Milele Car Rental LLC (MCR), the party that owns or legally controls the Vehicle and grants the Hirer the right to use it under this Agreement.
Hirer means the customer who temporarily takes possession of the Vehicle for use during the rental period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Rental Period means the duration from the Vehicle handover to the Hirer until the Vehicle is returned to MCR or collected by MCR, including any approved extensions.
Default means any failure by the Hirer to comply with this Agreement, including but not limited to non-payment, misuse, violation of traffic laws, or use of the Vehicle by an unauthorized driver.
Misuse means any improper, negligent, abusive, or prohibited use of the Vehicle, including use contrary to UAE law or these Terms and Conditions.
Operating Charges means all usage-based costs incurred during the Rental Period, including but not limited to Salik tolls, DARB passes, parking fees, traffic fines, government penalties, fuel, and related administrative or processing fees.
Charges means rental charges, extension charges, fines, tolls, parking fees, fuel charges, excess mileage charges, damage charges, administrative fees, recovery fees, claim handling fees, and any other amounts due under this Agreement.
PAYMENT AND RENTAL STRUCTURE
Short-Term Rentals (1–20 days) — Billed at daily or weekly rates. The Hirer may extend the rental an unlimited number of times as long as payment is made before the current period ends. There will be no refunds for early returns. Failure to renew or pay on time will result in the rental being classified as overdue, and standard overdue penalties and recovery procedures will apply.
Monthly Rentals (21–30 days) — The monthly rate applies only when the full period is completed. There will be no refunds for early returns. Extensions must be processed and paid before expiry; requests made after expiry may incur surcharges.
Long-Term Rentals (3 months+) — Long-term rentals include discounted rates based on a fixed commitment period. Early termination will trigger a surcharge on the remaining contract value and all long-term discounts become void with standard rates applied retroactively.
Payment Terms — All rental fees must be paid in advance before the rental begins or before any extension is approved. Payments may only be made via online link shared by the MCR team. All fees and charges are exclusive of VAT, which shall be charged in addition at the applicable UAE rate.
Salik tolls and DARB entries are charged at the actual toll amount plus AED 1 per entry. All Salik parking fees are charged at 1.25× the paid parking amount.
Cheques are not accepted for B2C short-term rentals.
CONTRACT EXTENSION & OVERDUE PENALTIES
Rentals operate on a 24-hour basis. Extensions must be requested and paid before the contract expiry date. MCR reserves the right to re-evaluate the rate on any extension based on current pricing at the time of the request.
Extensions requested after the contract has expired may incur a revised rate, administrative surcharges, and accumulated overdue penalties. MCR reserves the right to decline an extension if the lessor is already in overdue status.
Overdue payment penalties:
- Additional 30% if unpaid 10–20 days
- Additional 50% if 21–30 days
- Additional 75% beyond 30 days + AED 100/day after 40 days; MCR may take legal action
Return acceptance is subject to final inspection for fuel, mileage, condition, accessories, fines, and later-posted charges. MCR reserves the right to charge any amounts arising from authority notifications, fines, or Salik charges received after vehicle return.
LATE RETURN POLICY
All rentals are subject to a grace period of 1 hour after the contract end time. If the Vehicle is not returned within this grace period, a full additional day's rental charge will apply.
VEHICLE CHECK-OUT & CHECK-IN
The Hirer confirms the Vehicle has been inspected at handover and accepted in good working condition unless otherwise noted in writing. The Hirer must check and sign the inspection report on pick-up and return.
Vehicles returned outside MCR's business hours (9:00am to 7:00pm, seven days a week) must be returned to the location designated by MCR. The rental shall remain open and the Vehicle shall remain at the Customer's risk until physically inspected and accepted by MCR on the next business day.

Failure to settle fines, Salik/DARB, or government penalties within specified timelines shall be treated as a material breach and may trigger Default provisions, contract termination, vehicle recovery, and legal action.
CARD AUTHORIZATION & AUTOMATIC CHARGES
By proceeding with this booking, the Hirer authorizes MCR to securely store and process card details for the purpose of collecting any amounts due under this Agreement — including rental fees, Salik/DARB charges, traffic fines, damage assessments, cleaning fees, fuel shortages, penalties, and administrative charges — at any time after the relevant charge becomes due, without requiring prior notification.
The Hirer acknowledges all charges processed under this authorization are in accordance with the rates and terms set out in this Agreement, and waives the right to dispute or reverse any such transaction with their bank or card issuer except where a charge is demonstrably inconsistent with these Terms.
VEHICLE MISUSE & PROHIBITED USE
The Hirer shall not assign, sub-lease, rent out, pledge, lend, or otherwise transfer the Vehicle or any rights under this agreement to any third party without MCR's prior written consent. The vehicle shall not be taken outside the United Arab Emirates under any circumstances. Attempting to take or taking the Vehicle outside the UAE may be treated as theft and MCR reserves the right to file a police case.
Prohibited uses include:
- Any use that would render insurance void
- Carrying passengers or property for business purposes without permits
- Any rideshare, taxi, or transport network service (Uber, Careem, Dubai Taxi, InDrive, or similar) without prior written approval from MCR and a valid RTA-licensed agreement
- Any illegal purpose
- Carrying more persons than the vehicle is designed for
- Overloading or improperly securing cargo
- Towing another vehicle without proper equipment
- Carrying hazardous substances
- Racing, pace making, off-road driving, speed testing, or similar purposes

Vehicle Impoundment: If the vehicle is impounded for any reason related to the Hirer or driver, the Hirer is fully responsible for all resulting costs. The daily rental rate continues for the entire impound period. Insurance and CDW are void in all impound cases. An AED 250 inconvenience charge applies. If the vehicle becomes a total loss while impounded: 20% of the vehicle value (as determined by MCR) + AED 10,000 total loss surcharge + 15% annual depreciation (pro-rata) + full downtime until the case is closed.
Any use in breach of this section may void insurance/CDW coverage and renders the Hirer fully liable for all resulting damages, fines, impound fees, recovery costs, downtime, and losses.

The rental deposit will be refunded after 21 working days from contract closure. Refunds via bank transfer incur an AED 20 processing fee.
Customers may choose between a refundable deposit or a non-refundable deposit waiver.

TERMINATION
MCR retains the authority to terminate the agreement in the event of non-payment, overdue payments, or breach of any terms. In case of Default, MCR may, without prior notice or court order, terminate the Agreement and repossess the Vehicle from any location.
Upon termination, MCR may immediately repossess the vehicle without prior approval from the Hirer. The Hirer waives any right to claim refunds, compensation, or damages. No refunds or adjustments are provided for early returns, regardless of unused days.
If the Hirer absconds, becomes unreachable, or fails to respond for more than 48 hours, MCR may repossess the vehicle and recover all losses incurred.
SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
MCR will arrange required servicing; the Hirer must ensure timely cooperation and vehicle availability. The Hirer is solely responsible for ensuring the vehicle is serviced on time. Any delays or damages resulting from the Hirer's failure to cooperate will be charged to the Hirer.
The Hirer is accountable for repairing flat tires incurred during driving. Any damages to the front windshield, windows, rear windshield, tire, or rim due to driving with a flat tire will be the Hirer's responsibility. Insurance coverage does not extend to tire or rim repair or replacement.
Repairs on the vehicle must not be undertaken without authorization from MCR. The Hirer will be fully liable for damages resulting from unauthorized repairs.
Replacement vehicles are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. No replacement vehicle will be provided in the event of a Red or White Report, or where the Hirer is found to be at fault.
VEHICLE RESPONSIBILITY & MILEAGE
Excess mileage is charged at AED 2 per kilometre. Mileage limits are determined by the selected rental package.
The vehicle must be properly secured when not in use. Any loss, damage, or fault must be reported to MCR immediately in writing. Any abnormality or malfunction must be reported within one hour of rental start; issues reported later will be repaired at the Hirer's cost.
Young/New Drivers: Drivers under 21 may only rent hatchbacks and sedans. Drivers under 25 may not rent coupes, muscle cars, or large 7/8-seater vehicles. Drivers holding a UAE licence issued less than 1 year are liable for an additional 10% of labour and repair costs above the standard charge in the event of an accident.
Accident Administration Fee: An AED 200 accident handling fee applies to each incident, in addition to repair costs or applicable excess, unless CDW is opted.
The Hirer is responsible for any re-punctures, tire bursts, and all related repair or replacement costs.
GPS TRACKING & MONITORING
The Vehicle may be equipped with GPS tracking devices, telematics systems, dash cameras, immobilizers, or other monitoring equipment. Tampering with, disconnecting, or damaging any GPS or tracking device is strictly prohibited. A fixed penalty of AED 4,000 applies for any tampering. Removal of a tracking device may be treated as vehicle theft and MCR reserves the right to file a police case.
MCR may use vehicle telemetry, booking data, photographs, digital inspection records, and authority notifications as evidence to administer the rental and recover charges.

RECOVERY & REPOSSESSION
MCR may recover the vehicle without prior notice if payments are overdue, the agreement is breached, the contract expires without return or extension, the Hirer is unreachable for more than 24 hours, or the vehicle is abandoned, impounded, or used illegally.
If a recovery takes place, the Hirer will be liable for:

Any recovery or repossession action taken due to Default shall not affect MCR's right to claim all outstanding rental, fines, penalties, damages, recovery costs, and legal fees from the Hirer.
GENERAL TERMS & GOVERNING LAW
The Hirer releases and indemnifies MCR from any liability, loss, or damage to personal property left, stored, or transported in the vehicle at any time. MCR shall not be responsible for any such items and shall not be liable for any consequential loss arising from mechanical failure or vehicle malfunction.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.

MCR reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendment shall take effect no earlier than two (2) calendar days from the date of notification. Amendments shall not apply retroactively to rental agreements already in force. The Hirer's continued use of MCR's services after the notice period shall constitute acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.
